Detailed impressions of the rehabilitation course
“Hi everyone 🙌 We love the centre — the words 'intensive' and 'team work' really mean something here. Back home each specialist pulls the blanket their way; here, after assessment, the whole team works together. The centre is private, not attached to a hospital — children and results come first, the instructors are genuinely devoted. On money: even with sessions 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday you won't spend more than 20K yuan a month. Housing — 2,500 yuan (a palace: two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom). The language barrier isn't an issue — two translators are always at the clinic, they meet you, help you settle, stay in touch. Less than three months makes no sense — the first month is adaptation. The centre is in a resort area, walking with a stroller is a pleasure plus the sea and waterfront. My Timofey is post-osteotomy — everything from scratch, but the results are fire 🔥. I'm scared to imagine how much time and money it would take in Russia. I'm already thinking about how to come back sooner 😁”

“I want to share my impressions after three months at NeuroLife. They flew by like one day; about 2.5 months were active sessions. When we arrived, our girl couldn't move herself across space — she could roll over but couldn't shift her body across the floor. After 1.5–2 months we saw Amelia move independently for the first time. The atmosphere is very positive — it's not a hospital but more like a kindergarten. The instructors genuinely love what they do; even on breaks they come to other sessions and play. The clinic owners Wei Wei and Babur are always available, ready to drive to the hospital at night. The atmosphere among parents is friendly, everyone supports each other. Right before my eyes several non-walking kids started walking. The city itself is great — warm climate, sea air, clean and well-kept. We're continuing!”

Diagnosis: Amelia, 2 y.o., hypoxic-ischaemic brain injury
“Hi everyone from Saint Petersburg! Let me tell you about our trip to Huizhou, to NeuroLife. Alyosha has cerebral palsy, spasticity in his legs — he walked poorly, only with support and on his toes. At home we tried everything: massage, exercise therapy, swimming — but with little progress. We were nervous to travel — different country, different language. But we were greeted warmly and shown everything. The clinic feels cozy, not like a hospital. We did a lot: PT with Guo (great therapist, both supportive and demanding), massage with Wang (she really worked his back), needles. After three months I don't recognise my son! His legs are stronger, he doesn't lean over as much, walks with support but is already trying to step heel-first and even take a few steps on his own. For us this is a huge breakthrough! Thanks to the doctors and everyone at NeuroLife!”

“Salam! My baby Enesh wouldn't even turn her head — she was lying limp. After sessions at NeuroLife in Huizhou she's now tracking toys with her eyes and cooing! And yesterday for the first time she reached for a rattle with her hand. We're continuing rehabilitation.”

Diagnosis: Enesh, 1.5 y.o., spinal muscular atrophy type 2
“After falling off a tree my Pavel couldn't even recognise a spoon in his hand. At NeuroLife in Huizhou they did sensory sessions with him — playing with water, finger-painting. Now he holds a toothbrush by himself and is even trying to tie his shoelaces! The doctor said: 'Slow but steady, we're moving forward.'”

Diagnosis: Pavel, 12 y.o., after traumatic brain injury
“On arrival in China they helped us fill out the entry form, pass passport control and collect luggage. The clinic driver met us, recognised us from the photo, and helped to the car. After moving in we went straight to the supermarket with the translator on a tuk-tuk. The next morning the translator picked us up — there was a medical assessment (about 1.5 hours), the doctor asked many questions, then the instructors filled in their own evaluation forms. What struck me — all the instructors are in love with the children and their work. The boys were welcomed like family, several people ran up right away to play and cheer them up. After lunch we bought SIM cards, and the next day sessions began.”

Diagnosis: Anton and Matvey, twins, 18 months, both with cerebral palsy
“Hello! Let me tell you about our trip to NeuroLife. Vera has cerebral palsy with hemiparesis — her right side is weak, her hand worked poorly, her foot turned in. At home we worked with her, but she got tired quickly. In Huizhou they helped! We did PT, massage, equipment work. Vera especially loved sessions with Shen Lu — sensory integration: bouncing on the ball, swinging in the hammock. And PT with Liu Jing. Vera now uses her right hand much better — she eats, draws, dresses herself! And her leg is stronger, she walks better. I recommend it — don't be afraid, they'll help.”

Diagnosis: Vera, 7 y.o., cerebral palsy, hemiparesis
“Hello everyone! Before, Nastya couldn't sit independently or hold up her head. Dong Mingcheng works wonders! After a course of massage and CME, Nastya started holding her back, and with Dr. Ning and his PT sessions she learned to sit with support. The staff is so caring, everyone smiles — Nastya even stopped crying during procedures. We'll definitely come back!”
Светлана
Diagnosis: Nastya, 6 y.o., cerebral palsy
“Hello, ladies! I want to share our story. Leila had a head injury, after which she walked poorly and one of her hands didn't work. We went to NeuroLife. They gave Leila massage, PT, needles. She especially loved massage with Wang — kneading her back, working her hand. Ning, Guo, Yan are the most hardworking. Now Leila can walk on her own, and her hand has started to move! We're very grateful to all the doctors! Highly recommend!”

Diagnosis: Leila, 7 y.o., after traumatic brain injury
“Mariam has cerebral palsy and walked poorly, always on her toes. At NeuroLife they did massage, PT, CME, needles, equipment work. PT with Guo was especially good — he was very patient with her. Mariam now walks much better, she's already stepping on her heel! We're so happy!”
Галина
Diagnosis: Mariam, 9 y.o., cerebral palsy
“Hello from Belarus! Sharing some joy. Ilyusha and I went to Huizhou, to NeuroLife. He has cerebral palsy, was very weak, couldn't sit or crawl, held his head poorly. At home we tried but with little result. At NeuroLife Ilyushka came alive! They did massage, PT, needles, IV drips. He especially loved sessions with Yan — CME work. After a few months Ilyusha started rolling over by himself 😃, holds his head better, even tries to crawl 👍. For us this means so much! Thanks to everyone at NeuroLife for the work and care!”
Мария
Diagnosis: Ilyusha, 3 y.o., cerebral palsy, atonic-astatic form
“Hi, moms! Vanya and I are at NeuroLife right now. Before, he wouldn't roll over or sit. After one month of sessions he started rolling and trying to crawl, holds his head confidently! Big thanks to Liu Ding — she worked with him so confidently! Very happy!”

Diagnosis: Ivan, 1 y.o., motor development delay
“Thanks to the clinic administration for organising our departure 🙏 Everything was great — the driver helped with luggage, accompanied us, helped with check-in. At check-in, when our suitcases went on the belt, the alarm went off — we had to open them. Security saw a physiotherapy device. The clinic was right to warn us: don't put electronic devices with batteries in checked luggage, only carry-on. Thanks again!”
Татьяна
Diagnosis: Marina, 13 y.o., right-sided hemiparesis
“Once again, 4.5 years later, our next victory with NeuroLife! 🎉 We thank every rehabilitation specialist who contributed to our son's treatment 🙏 Thanks to Sasha Maznik for his patience and the huge work he does 💪 To Babur and his wife Wei Wei — for attention to patients and kindness 🌟 To Dong Mingcheng and his team — for professionalism! NeuroLife, you're the best ❤️ If there are any flaws — they can be solved! To parents I wish patience and most importantly — don't give up. Everything in this life can be fixed, you just have to want it very much 🌼”

Diagnosis: Muslim, 8 y.o., cerebral palsy
“Hello! Asel has severe cerebral palsy — barely moved, didn't speak, didn't eat by herself. At home we did everything we could, with no improvement. At NeuroLife they helped! Massage with Wang, PT with Guo, needles, equipment work. Aselka now holds her head better, has started moving her arms and legs a bit, attempts to roll over on the floor! For us this is a miracle! Thanks to the doctors — they gave us hope!”
Ольга
Diagnosis: Asel, 9 y.o., cerebral palsy, spastic tetraplegia
“Huge progress again! Dasha learned to walk! Dasha was born at 28 weeks, weighing only 1060 grams — first of twins. Despite an extremely difficult delivery and near-extreme prematurity we've come a long way. Dasha spent two months in rehabilitation at NeuroLife and made enormous progress during that time. Thanks to hard work and the specialists' support she learned to walk — an important milestone showing how strong and persistent little Dasha is.”

Diagnosis: Dasha, 7 y.o., cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia
“Bilal's key results: 1) Learned to stand independently and walk short distances. 2) Previously GMFCS-3, now GMFCS-2. 3) Previously couldn't go from lying to standing, now does it with minimal help. 4) Imitates movements and copies others. 5) Increased eye contact, reduced hand-biting, improved understanding of cause-and-effect in simple games. And much more. Rehab duration: first course 75 days, second course 50 days.”

Diagnosis: Bilal, 4 y.o., cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia, motor delay
“Helpful info for those planning the flight. We flew Atyrau → Almaty → Beijing, luggage all the way to Beijing. I ordered medical assistance in advance — they boarded us first and let us out last, gave us the wheelchair right after landing. At Almaty check-in I asked for assistance in China — on arrival a staff member walked us past the queue at passport control, helped with migration cards, and led us to terminal 3. Air China has special service — a separate counter without a queue. At personal screening they didn't take Leon's water or food pouches. In Huizhou we were met by driver Huang — a kind and empathetic man who helped with our suitcases. Last time he even checked us in and walked us to security. Huge thanks to him!”
Зарина
Diagnosis: Leon, 3 y.o., cerebral palsy
“Treatment results for 9-year-old Aikhan from Turkmenistan at NeuroLife (Huizhou): can stand on his right leg for 10–15 seconds, does up to 10 hops in a 60 cm circle, lifts his leg higher when stepping over obstacles, falls less during fast walking and running. Trunk and abdominal strength significantly improved, fine motor movements visibly better, abdominal breathing control improved. Aikhan pronounces words more clearly. Lower-limb joint range of motion increased — right ankle dorsiflexion passive +15°, active +5°.”
Ильяс
Diagnosis: Aikhan, 9 y.o., hemiparesis
“Lev stands better at support, more upright. When I lead him by the hand — before, after two or three steps his hip would go sideways and he'd fall. Now it's longer, up to 20 steps 👣 His vocabulary has grown and he's just gotten stronger 💪 Unfortunately he's not walking on his own yet, but I really hope so. I hope he'll at least walk hand-in-hand. We bought shoes with insoles and night splints 👟 The shoes should compensate the leg-length difference, and we added pads to the insoles.”
Евгения
Diagnosis: Lev, 6 y.o., cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis
“Hi everyone! Our 3-month rehab course at NeuroLife is coming to an end. Dima made huge progress: learned to stand at support for a few seconds, sit with a straight back, tries walking with a walker! They worked his right hand — he's learning to control it. We overcame many fears. With casting we lowered onto the heel 🥳 In previous rehab we could only dream of such results! Grateful to every instructor! We really loved the atmosphere — homey and cozy. I don't like hospital-style rehab centres. So we loved NeuroLife and will definitely come back!”
Марина
Diagnosis: Dima, 3 y.o., cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, GMFCS-5, MACS-4, speech delay
“We quickly reached Guangzhou airport, no traffic. At the airport the driver found a cart, loaded our things, helped check in for the flight — check-in took 20–30 minutes, they photographed Alina with the walker, asked where to drop it off. Then he walked us to carry-on screening. After that we were on our own. The flight was delayed an hour due to snow in Moscow and then another 30 minutes in the takeoff queue. On arrival in Moscow assistance met us at the plane, helped us through everything quickly, collect luggage, and handed us over to those meeting us.”

Diagnosis: Alina, 14 y.o., cerebral palsy
