International centre Нейролайф Китай
We help children with neurodevelopmental conditions unlock their motor and cognitive potential. Our centre blends traditional Chinese medicine with contemporary European rehabilitation protocols, shaping an individual programme for every family.
Over 15 years in paediatric rehabilitation
The international paediatric rehabilitation centre «Neurolife» has been operating in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, since 2011. The centre belongs to a network of more than 22 Chinese paediatric rehabilitation clinics and accepts families from the CIS, Europe, and the Middle East under medical-tourism programmes.
The team brings together neurologists, rehabilitation physicians, doctors of traditional Chinese medicine, sensory-integration specialists, and occupational therapists. Every child first undergoes a multidisciplinary assessment (MDT); the consilium then drafts a personal plan that combines physical therapy, acupuncture in the tradition of Professor Jiao Shunfa, instrumental physiotherapy, speech therapy, and PMT psychomotor sessions.
Huizhou's resort climate — mild winters, clean air, proximity to the South China Sea — naturally reinforces the therapy. Families stay in walking distance of the centre, attend daily sessions, and after discharge receive a home-care plan alongside the parents' school.
Child — family — community
Our work is built on the «child — family — community» principle: we account for the child's interests, the family's resources, and the environment they grow up in. We rely on evidence-based medicine, the protocols of the Yuncheng Institute of Acupuncture, and the experience of an international clinic network so that every course delivers measurable progress.
How we treat children in Huizhou
TCM meets evidence-based medicine
We blend the centuries-old tradition of acupuncture and Tuina with European PT, OT, and sensory-integration protocols. Every decision is backed by clinical evidence.
Multidisciplinary team
A neurologist, rehab physician, TCM doctor, speech therapist, occupational therapist, psychologist, and PT instructor work as a single MDT consilium, revisiting the plan every two weeks.
Family as co-therapist
The parents' school equips families with practical tools — how to support the child between sessions, continue exercises at home, and respond constructively to regressions. The support does not end with the course.
Resort-grade environment
Huizhou is a subtropical resort with mild winters and the South China Sea fifteen minutes away on foot. Walks, swimming, parks, and hot springs blend naturally into the therapy schedule.
Intensive course format
The programme is designed for two-to-three months of daily sessions, Monday through Saturday. This rhythm helps the nervous system consolidate new movement patterns and make the progress stable.
Native-language support
Two staff Russian-speaking translators and a family coordinator accompany the family at every step — from document preparation through discharge and follow-up online consultations.
Principles guiding the team
Holistic approach
We treat each child as an integrated system — body, nervous system, and emotions at once. Eastern health philosophy helps us design programmes where one method amplifies the result of another.
Knowledge heritage
Our specialists are direct students of the leading Chinese schools. Signature protocols of acupuncture and acupotomy are passed down from Professor Jiao Shunfa and the Yuncheng Institute.
Personal plan
After the multidisciplinary assessment, the consilium drafts a programme tailored to the specific child — age, diagnosis, temperament, family goals. There is no «one-size-fits-all» course in the centre.
Safe protocols
Every procedure — from acupuncture to instrumental physiotherapy — follows certified protocols. The therapeutic load is calibrated for each child individually and reviewed every week.
Measurable progress
Before each course we record objective baselines — tone, range of motion, GMFCS, speech tests. After the course we repeat the assessment and share the progress with the family at the closing consilium.

What we are proud of
International network of 22+ clinics
The Huizhou centre is the flagship of a paediatric-rehabilitation network that includes clinics in Boya, Yuncheng, and other Chinese cities, as well as a presence in Uzbekistan.
Signature acupuncture protocols
Direct knowledge transfer from Professor Jiao Shunfa and the Yuncheng Institute of Acupuncture. Huizhou applies techniques unavailable in most European clinics.
Families from 15+ countries
We host families from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, the Baltics, Germany, Israel, and the Middle East. Full support in Russian throughout the stay.
Parents' school and specialist mentorship
Regular master classes for parents and internships for rehabilitation specialists from partner clinics. A course does not end with discharge — we keep guiding families remotely.
